We sadly announce the death of beloved mama Lucy Nyaguthii Kinyua of Thung’are Nyeri County which occurred on 6th January 2019 at Consolata Mathari Hospital Nyeri.

Wife of David Kinyua and first born daughter of Priscillah Wangu. Mother of Fr. Charles Kinyua ‘aka Fr. CK of Radio Waumini Nairobi, Henry Kinyua CEC Agriculture Nyeri County, Moses Kinyua of Aproconsult Properties Nairobi, Stephen Muriithi of Kieni Butchery Buruburu Nairobi, Pauline Wangeci of Kirichu Nyeri, Josephat Kiama of Nairobi, Priscilla Wangu of Kirichu Nyeri, the late Godfrey Njogu, Consolata Wambui and Robinson Ndiritu.

Mother-in-law of Jane Gichuki, Evaline Muriithi, Charity Kiama, Faith Gichuhi, Phyllis Ndiritu, Kibaara and Ndiritu. Sister of Gichuki, the late Muthee, the late Mumbi,Wairimu, Kaigi, Ndiritu, Muthoni, Jane and Pastor Charles. Grandmother of Kariuki aka Kiriu, Felix, Dave, Maina, Hiram, Nyaguthii, Njeri, Muthoni, Sammy, Kinyua, Alma, Amara, Abba, Ciru, Lucy, Dennis aka Deno, Elam, kaLucy and Shakina. Great grandmother of four.

Funeral meetings are taking place at St. Paul’s University (University of Nairobi) Chapel Nairobi and at her home in Thung’are Nyeri County.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 15th January 2019 at her home in Thung’are, Nyange, Nyeri County.
