Mama Alex Rest Well
My sincerest sympathy to Lucy’s children and extended family on her death. I knew Lucy for many years through CICIAMS. She was a most beautiful person, inside and out, an excellent professional nurse and administers. She Aldo had a great wit. I shall miss her friendship. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
I had the pleasure of corresponding with Lucy when I assumed the duties of Secretary General of the International Catholic Committee of Nurses and Medico Social Assistants. I was very impressed by her spirit and dedication to promoting ethical nursing care. We had the pleasure to meet at the United Nations in New York City in May 2023 where she was honored for her impact in global nursing. I had hoped to see her in Kenya in 2024 and am very saddened by her passing. I offer condolences to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings and friends. I offer condolences to all who knew her in CICIAMS. May God bless her as she joined her husband in eternal life. She has lived a good life. “Well done good and faithful servant.” I am proud to have known her albeit briefly.
My dear untie Rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to Cousins Kui, Alex, Mike and Wairimu and all your families. Untie was truly a great mentor and a woman of Valor.
Fare thee well Auntie. You were a great inspiration to me with the way you consistently lived your faith and held your ground. I will always remember your kindness towards me from when I was a child. Rest with the angels until we meet again.
