It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Lydia Akinyi Angir that occurred on 16th October 2020 in Kisumu, Kenya.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Were Angir and Mama Mikal Were Angir of Kamser Osika, Karachuonyo. She was grand daughter of the late Mzee Wilson Angir and the late Mama Salome Bolo and the late Mzee Shadrack and Beldina Angado of Nyakach Agora. She was mother of Mikal Choge, grandmother of Kenzie Lydia Chol (Australia) and mother-in-law of Chol Chol (Australia). Sister of Dorothy Angir — Osir (Nbi), late Joram, late Israel, late John, David (Ksm), Carolyn (Australia), Miriam (Nbi), Joab (Ksm) and Isabella Angir (Ksm). Sister-in-law of the Late Eng. George Omondi Osir and auntie of Anne Opinya (Nbi), Allan Osir (Nbi), Ferdinand (Sotik), Solomon (Nbi), Andrew (Nbi), Jerome (Australia) and Joseph (Ksm).

She was niece of the late Samuel Obura and late Esther Obura, Dr. Yustino and Eucabeth Angir, late John and Doreen Ombai, The late Joram Angir, late Margaret Jabedo, late Elsa Otiato, late Perry, late Damaris Onyango, Mary Ogalo, Charles Angir, Jack Angir and Grace Okeyo of Karachuonyo, Mark and Mary Otieno; late Dan Owuor and Lydia Owuor; Japheth Okuku, late Truphena Abok, Rusalia Okeyo, Solomon and Isdora Owino; Richard and Joyce Okungu, Joshua Angado, Martin Okeyo„ the late Hawkins Omom, the late Jack Opiyo, Gershon Dula, Margaret Ogalo, Joyce Odidi, Pamela, Jane amongst many others.

Family and Friends are meeting at their residence 76 Okore Estate, Kisumu.
