It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Lydia Ngina Joseph, which occurred on 21st March, 2023 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Daniel Kithuma and the late Rebecca Nthambi. Beloved wife to the late Joseph Wambua Maveke. Sister to the late Aida Kimuya, the late Roda Nduku, the late Gideon Wambua, John Muthusi, George Muthama, Peter Mutua, the late James Mutisya, Joseph Mukinya and the late Wellington Kyalo.

Loving mother to the late Mukii, Joyce Mueni, Rose Ndungwa Mutava, Charles Kioko, Alice Mutio Kivuva, the late Joel Mutinda, Catherine Mwangangi, Roy Maveke, Wilson Mwanzia, Teresia Nduku, Daniel Mutiso and the late Elizabeth Nthenya.

Mother-in-law to Bernard M. Mutava, Bernard Kivuva Mwangangi, the late John Mwongela Mwangangi, Sarah Mwikali Kioko, Consolata Ngina Maveke, Mary Mutio Mwanzia and Virginia Nditi Mutiso.

Grandmother to the late Elizabeth Mbithe Kassim, Charles Mutuku, Brian Musyoki, Beverly Nthambi,Catherine Ngina Mumo, Esther MukuludimmyWambua, Dennis Mutisya, Ruth Ndinda Makau, Barbara Mwangangi, the late Lydia Roy, Samuel Mwangangi, Catherine Ngina, David Munuve, Idah Mwikali, Catherine Ngina, Cynthia Achola, Irene Ngina, Ivy Roy, Mark, Brian, the late Wambua, Regina Mbuki, Eric Wambua, Marietta Mwelu, Nicole Ngina and Dennis Musyoki.

Great-grandmother to Keith, Ryan, Leo, Trevor, Wendo, Makena, Theo, Prince, Jayson,Travis, Carl Wendo, Kimberly and Chloe. She was an aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting in Buruburu Phase 4, Rare Court, House Number 608 and at their rural home in Tata, Machakos County.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Mortuary (Mbagathi Road), on Saturday 01st April, 2023 at 7.30am, for the funeral service and Interment at the family home in Kya Katulu Village, Tala Location, Matungulu Sub-county, Machakos County. No flowers and photographs please.
