It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Madam Phanice Ong’ato Makokha of Eluche Primary School which occurred on 17/04/2022 at St. Marys Mission Hospital Mumias.

Daughter of the late Fanuel Ong’ato and Emily Ong’ato. Daughter-in-law to the late Omar Makokha and the late Zaina Makokha. Wife of Ali Makokha of Vast Engineering and Logistics – Eldoret. Mother of Zuhura Mwenje Makokha.

Sister to the late Jedida Ong’ato, the late Jemima Ong’ato, the late Jerusa Ong’ato, the late Phyllis Mwimali, Esther Auma, Monica, Penina, Dina, Frida, Eunice, Patrick, Lawrence and James.

Sister-in-law to Asman, Mohammed, Yusuf, Shaban, Asha, Hadija, Zainab, Zaituna, Natecho and Rehema. Cousin to Joel, Merenga, Melsa and Patrick Omonyo.

The cortege leaves St. Mary’s Mission Hospital Mortuary Mumias on 13/05/2022 at 10.00am to her matrimonial home for prayer service and overnight stay. Burial will be on 14/05/2022 at her home in Khalaba Sub-location, Shibale Ndogo Village, Kakamega County.
