It is with utmost sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on Madam Veronica Wangai Chelal Teacher at Kobil Primary School of Rorok/Mindililwo Keiyo North Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Daughter of the late Matias Njeru Kamau and Catherine Wegandu Matias Embu County. Wife of Patrick Chelal (Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Nairobi). Mother of Kipruto (KHBT Nairobi), Jepkemboi (Gatundu MTC), Jepchumba ( University of Eldoret) and Jeptoo (Muranga University). Guardian of Hillary (Chebara Sec school), Minos (Dedan Kimathi University) and Caroline. Daughter in-law of Kemei Rutto and Grace Kemei.Grandmother of Ian and Harvey. Sister of Njoki, Wegoki, Muthoni, Kathuri, Wangai, Wanjohi, Gicuku, Kariuki and Kaari. Mentor and friend to many.
