Magdalena Katule Maluku

We regret to announce the death of Mwaitu Magdalena Katule Maluku, of Nduu village, Kithembe Location, in Makueni.
She was the last child of the late Kimeu and the late Ndindi. Wife to the late George Maluku Mutava.
Mother to Paul Mutuku Maluku and the late Gabriel Maluku Mutava. Mother-in-law to Mrs. Mary Koki Mutuku and the late Josephine Muthike Mutava. A doting grandmother to several grandchildren namely Cynthia Mutethya and John Kioko, Duncan and Harriet Maluku, Mercy Mbeneka and Nicholas Irungu, Janet Katule and David Kyalo, Allan Musyoki, Catherine Mwende Mutava, Julius Maluku Mutava and Andrew Musyoka Mutava. The late Magdalena had 12 great grandchildren namely Kyra Ndakayao, Nathaniel Mutuku, Emmanuel Musau, Troy Mutuku, Ezra Philip, Sifa Mbeneka, Renee Koki, Samara Njeri, Tristian Mureithi, lman Kyalo, Alexa Koki and Gabriel Mutava. Auntie to Katiwa, the late Muthoka, Priscilla Kavete, Ndambuki Kilei, Elizabeth Mumbua, Patrick Kavita Maweu, Florence Wanza Maweu, Sila Muiya, the late Redempta Ndumi among many.
In-law to the late Mr & Mrs Joseph Musyoki Nthakyo (Masii) and the late Mr and Mrs. Mulinge Kalia (Matuu) (Syitae). Sister-in-law to the late Martha Muumbi, the late Muia Mutava, the late Muthuka Mutava, the late Mulote Mutava, the late Mutungi Mutava and the late Maweu Mutava.
The cortege shall leave Montezuma Funeral home Nairobi on the 10th of April 2023 for a funeral mass at Mutungu Primary School grounds, Kilungu — Makueni starting at 10:00am. The burial shall take place at the family home in Nduu village, shortly thereafter.
