Magdalene Wambui Muhungura

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Magdalene Wambui Muhungura which occurred on 29th July 2018 at Coptic hospital Nairobi after a short illness.

Wife of the late Evanson Muhungura Miako, daughter of the late James Mbugua (Gatoto) and the late Gatugi Mbugua. Sister of Wanjiku, Wairimu, Wanjiru, the late Njuguna Gatoto, and the late Mucheru Gatoto. Mother of Susan Koina, Simon Miako, Alice Kinyanjui, Florence Karanja, Stephen Muhungura-Kisii, Joseph Gichimu-Kitale and Jemimah Weru. She was co-wife of the late Eunice Wanjiku, step mother of Virginia Muhungura, Frederick Muhungura, David Muhungura, Rose Kiongo, Elizabeth Nduati, the late Paul Gichimu and Florence Muhungura. Mother in-law of Koina Kibiru, Wanjeri Miako, the late Kinyanjui Gachuiri, Cyrus Karanja Kinuthia,Wairimu Mwaura, Fidelis Gichimu and John Weru Muriuki. Grandmother and great grand mother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at Holy Family Basilica from 5pm and at her home Kagaa-Githunguri, Kiambu County.

There will be a fundraising on 3rd August 2018 to settle the hospital bill at Holy family Basilica from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home on Tuesday 3rd Aug 2018 at 9a.m for a Funeral service at A.I.P.C.A Kamahia Church at 11a.m. and thereafter she will he laid rest at her home Kagaa.
