Mama Agnes Akal Opuk
The Opuk family regrets to announce the passing of Mama Agnes Akal Opuk on 8/4/2021 at Nightingale Hospital Kisumu.
Wife of the late Japuonj John Opuk Odem. Bossom friend of the late Hon.Tom Ogallo Ogada and Mama Phoebe Ogallo. Sister of the late Isaac Ombalo, the late Joel Obongo, the late Wilson Aramba, and the late Samuel Onyango. She is survived by her brother, Jeremiah Bwana of Makaka School Kendu Bay. Sister to Teresa Ogiti of K’Otieno Oyugis and Preskila Minjo of Gisambai.
Mother of the late Susan Odaa, Jane Achieng Oduk, Mark Otieno (Paul), Noah Okoth, Nathaniel Omega, Boaz Otieno (KDF, Nanyuki) & Mrs. Salome Okoth (UK). Mother-in-law of the late Elijah Ogongo Odaa,Jimmy Owing Oduk,Theophilus Okoth and Anne Atieno Otieno.
Grandmother of Betty Odaa, the late Dayan Odaa, Doreen Nyagaya (Italy), Bonny, Vicky,Tito Oduk, Charles Oduk, Ibrahim Oduk, Gwen Oduk (Canada), Batista Oduk, Joseph Opuk, Esther Opuk, Hannah Opuk, Praise Opuk (Sinyolo Girls), Margaret Noah, Hilda Opuk,Agnes Opuk, Susan Opuk, Vicky Okoth, Rubby Okoth, Chantal Okoth. Great-grandmother to Jeanette, Elijah, Zephany, Kevin, Joy, Blessing Sulwe, Hera, Gweth, Jimmy-Junior, Joel and baby Jane.
The body will be removed from Star Mortuary Ogango at 7:30am Saturday 24th April, 2021 for burial the same day. Burial will be conducted by Rev. Bishop Philip Osenya of AIC Nyanza area at her farm in Achego village, East Songhor Sub-location, Muhoroni Sub-county, Kisumu County.
We celebrate a wonderful mother to many and a friend to all. Praise be to the Almighty God.
