It is with profound sorrow to announce the death of Mama Catherine Atieno Sika (Rtd) layreader that occurred on Tuesday, 23rd May, 2023 at Aga Khan Hospital.

She’s daughter to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Loise Owinyo of lhonje Village, Musanda.

She’s beloved wife to the late Hosea W. Sika. Mother to the late George Sika, the late Eunice Radolo, Josephine Sika, Beatrice Sika, Jemimah Gaya, Hellen Sika, Janet Sika, Festus (Dan), Robert Sika and Samuel Sika. Grandmother to Alice, Roy, Stayce, Cindy, Nicole, Arnold, Michelle, Quinter, Shareen, Laura,Tanya, Kate, Zion and several great grandchildren.

Sister to the late josephina, Samson and Wilson. Sister-in-law to Walter Awiti, the late Isabella Maugo and the late Esau Ondiege. Aunty to many nephews and nieces.

Mother-in-law to the late Albert Radolo, Mark Abonyo, Joel Gaya, the late Francis Ngatia and Leah Rollinson Sika.

The cortege will be leave the Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu Mortuary at 10.00am on 9th June, 2023. Followed by a requiem service at St. Barnabas ACK church, Anyiko, Yala.

Burial will take place on 10th June, 2023 at her home in Anyiko, Konjra Village, Yala.
