We accept God’s will as we announce the death of Mama Charity Kaimuri Gitonga which occurred on Thursday 3rd March, 2022 at Rugomo village, Mikumbune Location.

Daughter to the late M’Ikiara M’Murithi and Isabella Kauro M’kiara. Wife to the late Michael Gitonga.

Mother to Prof. Linus Muthuri and Prof. Catherine Wangari Muthuri; Jane Gacheri; Raymond Murithi and Janet Kathambi Murithi; Dr Nicholas Mawira and Jane Kithira Mawira; Martin Mwiti and Carol Kathambi Mwiti.

Sister to Agnes Gatwiri, Kinoti M’Ikiara, Samwel Mugambi, late Phineas Mati, Patrick Muthamia and Grace Mugure. Grandmother to Kinya, Wanjiru and Kendi Muthuri; Mutwiri and Munene; Nkatha and Kendi Murithi; Kendi Mawira, Kanana and Rima; Nkirote and Koome. A great-grandmother to Samara_Zuri, Zawadi Wambui and Iden Kithinji.

Praver meetings and burial arrangements are going on at her home in Rugomo Miriene, Mikumbune Location.

Burial will be held at the same place on Friday 11th March, 2022. The cortege will leave Consolata Hospital Mortuary – Nkubu – at 9.30am.
