It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Damaris Mwari Muriuki which occurred on 19th April, 2022 around 7.00am after a short illness.

Dear wife to Gideon Muriuki M’mwongo M’ithibutu. Adorable Mom to: Martin Baariu, Catherine Kinanu, Lillian Nthama, Timothy Mutua, Rev Hosea Kimathi, Sophia Kaburu and Richard Mwiti.

Mother-in-law to: Joyce Kagwiria Baariu, Joel Thuranra, Gerrit Bachmann, Regina Mutua, Jacinta Kimathi, Matthews Ageri and Purity Mwiti.

Grand-mom to: Lorraine Wanja, Ann Muthoni, Ezra Gitonga, Joy Makena, Everlyne Ntinyari, Brian Karani, Mercy Nkatha,Victor Bachmann, Jonah Bachmann, Justin Thuranira, Safari Munene, Barrack Mwenda, Neema Kanana, Samuel Muriithi, Joy Nkirote, Bright Ageri, Sharon Mwendwa, Esther Moraa, Jasmine Karambu, Leila Nkatha and Ivy Wanja.

Great-grand-mom to: Jessie, Phillip, Kai,Amani, Maxie, Lemuel, Shem and Ethan.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Mission Hospital Funeral Home on Friday the 29th April, 2022 for funeral service at Giunku Methodist Church at 11am. Thereafter, the burial will take place at her rural home in Miathene, Giunku village,Tigania West Constituency.

Family and friends gather daily in Nairobi and in her Rural home in Miathene, Giunku village, Tigania West Constituency for prayers and preparations.

We therefore extend our gratitude to everyone that has supported us in this process. God bless you all.
