It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mama Dorsila Susan Atieno Okatch which occurred on 28th April, 2023 in her sleep.

Daughter to the late Mzee Joel Makaya and the late Waindi Nyogola. Sister to John Wambi, Roselinda Adoyo, Odero Makaya (all deceased) and Barack Oguta.

Wife to Ernest Okach Okach. Co-wife to Doris Anyango (deceased). Mother to Daniel Ogola, Mary Anyango, Kenedy Onyango, Pamela (all deceased), Prisca Akinyi Binge, Michael Ochieng Okatch, John Erick Okatch. Step-mother to Ezra Odondi.

Mother-in-law to Rispa Auma (deceased); Margaret Ngeso Ochien’g; Florence Achien’g and Lynette Nzamalu Okatch.

The cortege will leave HEMA Hospital – Kisii on Thursday 18th May, 2023 at 12.30pm. The burial is scheduled for Friday 19th May, 2023 at Wariga Village (Ranen), Waware location, Awendo Sub-county, Migori County.
