Mama Emily Mambo

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Emily Chausiku Mambo (2nd Mayoress of former Mombasa Municipal Council) that occurred on Friday, 28th April, 2023.

Daughter of the late Silas Nyale and the late Mariamu Gona.

Wife to the late Mzee John Mambo.

Sister to Mama Lina K. Madumadu, Bertha M. Nyale, Elmah M.Getao, the late Dr.Glynn Madumadu, the late James B. Madumadu, Prudence M. Madumadu, Linnah C. Madumadu, Matilda K. Madumadu and David Dena Madumadu.

Mother to Victoria Mose, the late Joseph Chirudzi, Lina Chizi, Ethel Ningome, Richard Mramba, Bertha Maiki, Japhet Mwendamanga, Silas Nyale Mary Sada and Naomi Riziki.

Mother-in-law to the late Geoffrey Njinjo Chege, Eva mambo, James Mwayayi, Emmanuel Bebora, Eva Siphan Mramba, Patrick Shimikero, Susan Kamau Mwendamanga, Gerrald Midimo and George Kadzenga. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Mombasa Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 12th May, 2023 at 1300hrs. Funeral service and interment will be on Saturday, 13th May, 2023 at her home Ribe Chauringo starting from 1000hours
