Mama Esther Muthoni Rutere

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Muthoni Rutere which occurred on 07/10/2019 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mwaura Macharia and Rahab Wambui. Beloved wife of the late Erasto Rutere Wang’ondu. Loving mother of the late Lydia Wanyiri, Rahab Gichungi, Mirriam Nyawira, Anne Mwangi, the late John Maina and Samuel Gitonga. Mother in-love of Elizabeth and Wilson Wanyiri, ENG Henry Gichungi, Wairagu Gichuki, James Kimandu, Lose Wanja and Eunice Mumbi Gitonga. – Grand Great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Karen (Gichungi’s Residence) from 06:00pm-08:00pm (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) and Muhotetu home.

There’ll be a planning meeting on Friday at 05:30pm at the Technical University of Kenya.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu District Hospital’s Mortuary on Tuesday 15/10/2019 at 08:30am for burial procession at Laria Muhotetu.
