It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Gladys Muyuka Amukhobu, which occurred on Tuesday, 12/07/2022.

Daughter of the late Paul Lucheveleli and the late Sophia Ivelia Lucheveleli. Loving wife of the late Mr Patrick Omukawila Amukhobu.

Mother to Rim Anyoso Ndeto, Prisca Anupi Serunjogi, Michael Lucheveli, Tish Ogutu, Nelly Amimo Omondi, Ruth Asami Muchemi and David Habwe Amukhobu. Mother-in-law to Jonathan Mutwasa Ndeto, Nuwa Senkebe Serunjogi, Zainabu Mohammed, Tom Ogutu, Dennis Omondi, Reagan Gitahi Muchemi and Joyce Mulwa. Grandmother of 15.

Sister of the late Juliana Lucheveleli, the late Rita Lucheveleli, Regina Shivachi, the late Ernest Sejero,the late Petronita Lucheveleli, Pius Kubayi, the late Josephat Mulindi, Steven Abakala and Auntie to many nieces and nephews.

Sister-in-law of Bishop Emeritus Joseph Mophat Kilioba, Donnah Kilioba, Joseph Kiliopa Amukhobu, Margaret Amukhobu Florence Habwe Nona,Willyse Nona Omolo the late Keziah Muchelule, Justice Aggrey Muchelule, Phyllis Wetangula, Senator Moses Wetangula and the late Robert Habwe.

Funeral arrangements are currently taking place at her home in Kitengela Milimani, Pioneer Estate.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Mbagathi Road on 22/07/2021. Burial will take place on 23/07/2022 at her home in Bunyore, Emutete, Emusenieri village near Ebwali Secondary School, Emuhaya Consistency,Vihiga County.
