Mama Jane Salome Awour Weje

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our loving mother, Mama Jane Salome Awour Weje which occurred on 27/11/2018 after long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late mzee Robert Owadha Oppondo and the late mama Pauline Awino Owadha of South Hono Alego, Siaya County. Wife of the late Jared Ojode Weje of Yimbo Majengo. She was daughter in law of the late Mary Ajwang and Weje Misachi of Sakwa Kapiyo. Loving mother of Everlyne, Lucy, Victoria, Moses, Maryann, late Goretty, late Pauline and late Gift. Stepmother of Samson, Calvin and Joshua. Sister of the late Mary, late William, Patricia, Judith, Betty, Kennedy and late Sarah. Mother in law of Judith, Molly and Edna, Cosam and Fredrick. Grandmother of Laura, Goretty, Claire, Edgar, Diana, Nelson, Janel H, Stacy, Dan, Nicole, Lesly, Zoe, Sachelle, Aiden, Bennete, Sally, Maison, Jerry, Raphael, Dylan, Dwayne, Dina, Eddy, Lizbeth,Tanya and Liz. Great grandmother of jayden, Jayson, Tyler, Brittney and Dalton.

Fundraising to defray funeral expenses on 11 Dec 2018 at Kisumu Hotel Siriba Hall next to the pool side from 4pm.

The body will be removed from Aga Khan Hospital on Friday 14th Dec 2018 at 12.00pm for a church service at St. Stephen’s Church Old Cathedral and thereafter to Yimbo Majengo for a night vigil.

Burial will take place on Saturday 15 Dec 2018 at Yimbo Majengo, Bondo Sub County.
