It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Janet Oluoch Okuon.

Wife of the late councilor Joab Okuon of Mabinju village South Gem location. Daughter of the late Mzee Okeno Oyuga and the late Mama Mikal Ondolo of Gem Karariw.

Mother of the late James Okuon, Perez Okuon, Joyce Ouko, Sarah Odongo, Eric Okuon, Jemimah Ogwang, the late Peter Jackoyo, Philisters Mirindo and Monica Muga. Mother-in-law of Margaret Adundo, the late Esther Achieng, the late Joseph Ouko, the late Joseph Odongo, Mildred Were, Eng. Nashon Oguya, the late Christine Achieng, Alloyce Mirindo and Tom Muga.

Sister of the late Fredrick Opiyo and the late Shadrack Awuoche. Sister-in-law of the late Jecton Ogolla, the late Margaret Orengo, the late Joyce Akeyo, the late Rosebella Mwalo, the late Yuanita Adundo, the late Sewe and the late Aphlyne Agina. Aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Matangwe Funeral Home on Friday, 16th September, 2022 for a funeral service at St. Luke Ndori A.C.K at 2.00pm and burial at her home in Gem Mabinju on Saturday, 17th September, 2022.
