Mama Jedidah Syonthi Muthoka (Wamathama)

The family of David Muthoka Kanyolu sadly announces the passing of their beloved mother, Mama Jedidah Syonthi Muthoka (Wamathama).

She was the daughter of the late Hussein Mathama Kinandu and late Ndanu Mathama.

Mama Jedidah peacefully departed on Monday, 13 November 2023, at Kitui General Hospital, after bravely facing a prolonged illness.

She was the daughter-in-law of the late Kanyolu-Kilungu and late Kamene Kanyolu.

Mama Jedidah is survived by her children: Mary Kamene, Jane Lena, Jackton Wambua, Peter Mwikya, Boniface Mathama, Eunice Mwikali, Janet Ndanu, Daniel Kanyolu, and Joyce Musuki. She was a loving mother-in-law
to Phyllis Kaali, Agnes Kavila, Esther Mutethya, George Mwangi, Patrick Ngonde, Mulinge Muema, Fred Mwikya, and Evans Kimwele.

Mama Jedidah’s legacy extends to her grandchildren: Queen, Robert, Jedidah, David Mwangi, Faith, Joseph, David Mulu, Esther, Jackton Mulu, Boniface Mulu, Caleb, Allan, Linet, Raymond, Catherine, Myes, Joan, Meshack, Evans  Mulinge, Ryan, Rylan, and Ivan. Additionally, she is a great-grandmother to Dylan Robert.

The cortege is scheduled to depart from Tribute Funeral Home in Kitui on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023, at 8:00 am and will proceed for burial at her residence in Kitui County, Kathungi-location.
