It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Jeliah Bochaberi Mogaka (JB) of Riakumba village, Nyakongo, Gesima ward, Nyamira County in the morning of Friday 25th February 2022.

She was the Loving daughter to the late Gichana and Keire, Beloved wife to the late Jephter Mogaka. Co-wife to the late Matundura and Florence.

She was daughter-in-law to the late Miyienda and late Kwamboka, Sister to Mongina, Gesare, Moraa, Bosire, Mosinya (all late), Tabitha and Jane among others.

Adoring mother to Ogeto, late Tom, Peris, Hellen,Yunuke and Benard.

Step mother to late Momanyi, Joseph, Charles, Late Oseko, Martha, Mary, Late Obonyo, Margaret, Deborah, Rose, Esther, Hon Jared Mogaka, Robinson, Peris and Janet.

Sister in Law to Osiago, Absolom, Ogeto, Nyamorambo and Mogombwa (all late). Aunt to Dr Ogeto, Momanyis, Omaribas late Gichana among others.

Mother in-law to Rebecca,Jane, Nyakundi, Omwega, the late Hezron, Concilia among others.

Korera to Orina, Abisai, Mecha, Okenye, Rosana and Mose (all late).

Grandmother to; Asenath (USA), Lilian,Onwonga’s, Nyanganyi’s, Peris, Osiago’s, Momanyi’s, Carol, Spinicah, Omariba’s, Bosibori’s, Sarita, Okenye among others and great grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Nyansiongo Nursing home on Sunday, the 13th of March 2022, at 8:30 am for a burial ceremony at her home Riakumba village, Nyakongo, Gesima Ward, Nyamira County.
