Daughter of the late Festo and lsdorah Opiyo. Step daughter of Gladys Opiyo (Nyakach Kajimbo). Sister of John, Walter, Hesbon, Monica, the late Samson, Perez,Wilkista, late Seta among others. Sister-in-law of the late Raphael, Ezekiel, late Appida, late Onunga and Maricus. Grandmother of Antonette, Victor, Eugene, David, Gerry, Daniella among others. Mother in law of Betty, Celestine, Monica, Judith, Irene, Pauline, Eunice, Mercy, Michael, Erastus, Alex, Silvance, Obong, John, Erick, late Milton, Dave and Paul. Nyiwendene are Susan, late Matilda, Ogonda, Owuor, Oteng, Agneta, Wambogo, Ogoma, Nyambega, Si-nava Akongo, Obong, Okello and late Nyangweso.

The cortege leaves Kisumu County Hospital mortuary on Thursday 14/09/2017 to St. Meshack Liera church for requiem rnass. Then proceed to her homestead for a night vigil. Burial will be on Friday 15/09/2017 at her homestead in Rabuor village Kisumu County.
