We regret to announce the death of Julia Koru Jasper Kaburia (Mama) of Mweru Village, Igoji on Saturday, 26th March, 2022 at Nairobi Womens Hospital.

Wife to the late Jasper Kaburia. Daughter of the late Zablon M’ruciu and the late Peris Nthang’a Zablon.

Loving mother to the late Charles Gitari, the late Dickson Mugambi, Rose Kajuju (USA), Martin Mwiti, Pamela Gakii (USA) and Dennis Murithi.

Mother-in-law to Teju Mugambi, the late Doris Mwiti, Uche Onyebadi (USA), Larry Sutton (USA) and Mary Kairuthi.

Grandmother to Linet Makena (USA), Derek Gitau (USA), Nelly Kendi (South Africa), Sharon Kaari, Jasper Mawira, Kevin Munene, Wayne Mutai (USA), Lavender Muthomi, Shirleen Mukami, Yadi Onyebadi (USA), Nkechi Onyebadi (USA), Cadic Sutton (USA) and Kester Sutton (USA). Great-grandmother to Jennise Kimani (USA), Liya Kimani (USA), Leila Kimani (USA) and Leo Kiptoo.

A warrior and educationist through out her life, Julia lived a full and warm life filled with kindness.

She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. The burial date has been set for Monday, 4th April, 2022 in Mweru Village Igoji.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in everlasting peace Mama Julia.
