Mama Juliana Shihafu Musindayi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Juliana Shihafu Musindayi, which occurred on 27th January, 2023 at Kakamega General Hospital. Juliana was born on 21st November, 1926 in lmakhaya Village, Shinyalu Constituency, Kakamega County.

She was the 3rd born child of Maria Khatiakala and Thomas Shilibwa. Daughter-in-law to the late Silvia Atuka and the late John Mahila.

She was the wife of the late Adrian Musindayi. Loving mother to the late Julius Isohe, Regina lbasha, Dyphina Mwaitsi, the late Alfred Chiteyi, Agnes Mboone, Eng. Stephen Bahati, Patrick Lubembe and Adelaide Khatonde.

Sister to the late Tressa Litsiambo, the late John Shikoli, the late Joseph Tusu, the late Clara Mutavuta and the late Clement Bulinda.

She was the mother-in-law to the late Jackson Sholeche, the late Shem Misiko, Samson Ogendo, Ursula Bahati, Asha Nur, Domtillah Tallam and Lydia Lubembe.

She was the grandmother to Mildred Khatonde, Dr. Emma Anyika, Irene Ayuma (Esuatini), Carol Imbimi, Maureen Khatiakala(USA), Sammy Shikoli, Nancy Shimulia Alice Malesi, Ann Mumu (Canada), Triza Atuka (Malkia Strikers), Winnie Muteiti, (UK), Louis Sore, Felistus Lihavi, Edwin Mugala, Felix Mulago, Reason Shigogodi, Collins Amanyaiesca Msitsajoan Lunyu, Dorice Achieng, Shamim Musindayi, Hainclan Musindayi, Stephen Obuya, Victor Ogendo, Julian Ogendo, David Ogendo, Philip Ogendo, Nevyn Musindayi, WW1 Musindayi, Humphrey Shikoli, Dennis Alusa, Rachael Kagai, Emmanuel Baraka, Victor Mulindi.

A celebration of her life will be held in Kakamega on Friday, 3rd February, 2023 starting, 10.00am at Mukumu Catholic Church Kakamega.

The funeral service will be held at Shianyinya Primary School in Museno Location, Kakamega County on Saturday, 4th February, 2023 from 10.00am and her burial thereafter in her home at Museno Village.
