It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Leah Khavai Kashindi which occurred on Saturday, 5th November 2022.

Wife of Thomas Kashindi Ashiono (Alavutiku). Loving mother to Beatrice Mweleme (retired teacher), Adelaide Khabugwi Mbaye (nurse/ business woman Mumias), Geoffrey Manono (Pwani University), Silas Ingosi Kashindi (Nairobi businessman), Paul Manyonyi (Kashindi Shop), George Kashindi (Partner MMK Advocates) and Ebby Kashindi (Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission).

Daughther of Clement Khasiani lngaso and Nifa Chimoi Khasiani (both late). Sister to Irene, Roselida (both late) and Loice, Japheth, Gerishom and Alfred.
Sister in law to Busolo, Mercellina, Indeche, Mikaili, Shitendawili, Khayati, Kustini, Vita, Manga (all late), Otelo and others.

Mother-in-law to Barasa, Mbae, late Lucy, Maria, Nelly, Irene and Philip. Aunty, cousin, grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Prayer and funeral meetings are being held daily at 4pm at her home in Malinya.

Funeral service will be held at 9am on Saturday, 12th November 2022 at Musingu Friends Church and she will be laid to rest thereafter at her Malinya Home in lkolomani, Kakamega County.
