It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Lornah Ayuma Muhandick of Bushiangala Village, Ikolomani Division, Kakamega South Sub-county, Kakamega County, on 27th August 2022.

Beloved wife to the late Michael Libehe Muhandick. Daughter of the late Chief (Rev.) Gershom Shikunyi Khatete and the late Nifa and Gladys Khatete of Ekatsombero Village, Kisa Location, Kakamega County.

Loving mother to Cecilia, Geoffrey,Alice, Joan, Dick,Vincent, Catherine, Felistus, Victor and Everlyne. Mother-in-law to the late Joseph Oloo, Agnes, Nathan Indombele, Deborah, Rosemary, Valentine Ichechi, William Eroba, Misako and Geoffrey Malel. Grandmother and great grand mother to many.

Sister to the late Samson, the late Mary Olembo, the late Joab, the late Josephine Maloba, the late Hezekiah, Elinah Omusinya, the late Nifa Ombima, the late Daniel, the late Irene, Mary Mulama, the late Catherine, Tom, Joseph, the late Rebeccah, Rose Makaa, Esther Shiyonga, the late Truphosa and the late Safari.

The cortege leaves Kakamega General Hospital Mortuary on Friday 2nd September, 2022 for an overnight vigil at her Bushiangala Village home. Burial service will be held at her home on Saturday 3rd September, 2022 starting at 9.00am.
