It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Marcella Nyantune Ongeri on 9th November, 2023.

She was a wife to the late Michael Ongeri Nyangoka and Co-wife to late Jane Moran Ongeri.

Daughter to the late Simeon Ong’oi and late Catherine Bosibori of Kiamwalimu Village, Karantini Sub-location Nyamira County.

Daughter in-law to the late Nicholas Nyangoka and late Elizabeth Nyanchera of Mong’oni Village.

Mother to Paustina Ratemo, Bogita Ongeri (Defence), Mwalimu Caroline Masankwa (Kegwanda Primary School), Maria Abongo (Siaya), Jones Nyakundi (National Treasury), Mwalimu Alfred Ongeri (Namirembe Primary Bungoma), Daniel Ongeri (KDF), Florence Nyakundi, Maurice Ongeri and Linet Chacha, Ben Nyangoka (Ministry of Health), Evans Nyakundi, Maureen Moi, Bonareri Bironga and Erick Ongeri.

The cortege will leave Christamarianne Funeral Parlour, Kisii on 23rd November 2023. Mama Marcella will be laid to rest on Friday 24th November, 2023 at her matrimonial home Biticha Village,Rigoma Division, Nyamira County.
