It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Monica Mbera Omambia, which occurred on 21St March, 2023 while undergoing treatment at Christamarianne Mission Hospital – Kisii.

Wife of the late Mzee Nathan Omambia. Mother to: Tabitha Were, George Omambia, Mark Omambia, Mary Onsarigo, Rodah Moriasi, Peris Omambia and Elijah Omambia.

Mother-in-law to: Clement Were, Zachariah Moriasi, Daniel Onsarigo, Jane, Lucy and Pauline, and the late Elizabeth and Rachel.

Grandmother to: Sam, Dan, Marciana, Achuki, Rose, Dennis, Judith, Truphosa, Pamela, Brian, Esther, Kevin, Gertrude, the late Catherine, Lameck, Gibson, Emma Moraa, Emma Maina, Catherine, Jeremy, Geoffrey, Mitchel, Marion, Mike, Shantel, Colleta, Christine, Hyvin and Brighton. Great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 30th March, 2023 for an overnight stay at her home. Burial will be on 3sst March, 2023 at her home in Rigoko Village, Nyansiongo Location, Gesima Settlement Scheme, Borabu Sub-County in Nyamira County.

We loved you mamma and grandma, but God loves you more. Rest in peace till we meet again.
