It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mama Pamela Atieno Onunga, which occurred on 4th April, 2023.

Loving wife to James Onunga Ongudu.

Cherished daughter of the late Mzee Yashon Ogonda and Mama Teresa Apiyo Ogonda.

Loving mother to Kenneth Onunga, the late Dorothy Akinyi, Millicent Akinyi,Violet Aoko, the late Eunice Adhiambo, Tom Onunga, Mary Akoth, Racheal Anyango, Benter Auma, Fred Onunga and Nick Onunga. Step mother to Gabriel Nyangweso, Phoebe Ogonda, Peter Okinda, Gideon Magak, Betty Odera,Tony Odera, John Odera, Calvince Okinde, among others.

Daughter-in-law to the late Joram Ongudu Okinda and Rael Oyando Ongudu.

Sister to Jane, Lorna, John, the late Sipy, among others. In-law to the late Prof. Ben Odera Ongudu,Washington Ongudu of USA, Michael Nyangweso, the late Luke Ongudu, the late Robert Okinda, the late Achieng Ochome, the late Nandi, the late Ong’ege, Prof. Florence Odera, the late Peris Okinda, Elizabeth Dacho, Silpa Nandi, Clementine Achieng, Rusehna Omboke, Catherine Nyangweso and many others.

The body of the late Mama Pamela Atieno Ongudu is laying at Star Hospital Annex Morgue, Kibos Road.

The main fundraiser will be held on 26th April, 2023 at her home in Nyakach.

The cortege leaves the morgue on Thursday, 27th April, 2023 for burial on 28th April, 2023 at her home in Kamarimba Village, South West Kadiang’a in Nyakach Sub-county, Kisumu County.
