Mama Pamela Everlyne Adhiambo Ominde
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Mama Pamela Everlyne Adhiambo Ominde which occurred on 12th June 2018 after a long illness bravely endured, formerly of Kenya Trade Network Agency (KENTRADE) and Kenya Ports Authority (KPA).
Loving wife of Isaac Bowers Omuodo Ominde of University of Embu. Daughter of the late James Ochola Halwenge and the late Rosebella Halwenge. Daughter-in-law of the late Daniel Ominde and the late Flora Akelo and Mary Ominde. Adoring mother of Raymond Otieno, Florence Atieno and James Ochola. Mother-in-law of Elizabeth Mulewa and Jacquiline Njogu. Grandmother of Shawn, Ayanna, Alvin and Adela. Sister of Clarice Kiyaka, the late Timothy, the late Charles, Beatrice Okumu, the late Stephen, the late Edward and the late Anna. Sister-in-law of the late Justo, the late Mary, Keziah, Better, the late Aineah, the late Beldine, Risper, Manasse, Festus (USA), Flora, Peter, Alice, Veronica and Jenipher. Cousin, Aunty, Grandmother and friend CO many.
The Cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on Friday 22nd June at 12pm for a church service at ACK St, John’s -Wachara Church at 1pm.
Burial will be held on Saturday 23rd June 2018 starting at 10am at her home in Kotetni Village, Korando, opposite Kisumu International Airport.
There will be a fundraising in aid of funeral expenses on Wednesday 20th June 2018 at her home in Kogony.

I used to call her Nyar Ominde and she called me Nya Loka motedo Loka. She was a friend and colleague, and as I followed her hospitalization, it never occurred to me that she was doing her last lap. Pamela av cried and it is very sad for me to imagine u are gone. Awuoro joodwa, kare tho nitie adier. RIP Nyar Ominde, till we meet again.
