Mama Peris Muthoni Kiiru

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Peris Muthoni Kiiru. She went to be with the Lord on 2nd July, 2023 after a life well lived.

Loving wife to the late Paul Kiiru Komo of Gathanji, Othaya, Nyeri County.

Daughter to the late Rev. Stanley Gitundu and Martha Wairimu. Sister to the late Crispus Mwangi, the late Stephen Muchiri, Paul Waweru, the late Loise Mumbi, the late Rev. Arthur Kimani, Hannah Wanjiru and the late Samuel Karingithi.

Beloved mother to Grace Njeri and Benjamin Maim, Bonface Macharia and Jane Wamuyu, Dr. Julius Maina Kiiru and Nancy Wanjiru (Westlands Medical Centre), CPA Symon Kiiru (SM Kiiru and Company), Charity Wairimu and Stephen Waweru, Crispus Gathondu and Evalyne Wanjiku (Wakiiru Electricity & Borehole Services), Agatha Nyakairu and James Mwangi.

She was a loving mother, step mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at Mama’s homestead in Gathanji, Othaya, Nyeri County and also at Dr. Kiiru’s residence in Nairobi West.

The cortege leaves the Outspan Hospital, Nyeri on Wednesday, 12th July, 2023 at 8.00a.m. for mass at Kiaguthu Secondary School and thereafter for burial at her home in Gathanji.
