Mama Phoebe Jemimah Shighadi Mtambo (Anguo)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Phoebe Jemimah Shighadi Mtambo (Anguo) which occurred on Sunday, 3rd July 2022.

She was the first-born daughter of the late Evangelist Paul Nguta Mliwa and the late Alice Mghoi Mlale Mliwa.

The late Phoebe was the wife of the late Patrick Mkoji Mtambo, mother of the late Bernard Mwashegha Mtambo, Rose Mghoi Macharia, Grace Wughanga Mwashumbe, the late Karen Ndisha Mtambo, Givan Mwachongo Mtambo, Paul Mliwa Mtambo and Charles Mvoi Mtambo.

Daughter-in-law of the late Mwachongo Mwamodo and Grace Wughanga of Ndome, Mlalakawi.

Mother-in-law of Magdalene Wawuda Mwashega, Robert Macharia- Gathuku, Dawson Mwashumbe Mwangeka and Lucy Wangeci Miatu.

She hailed from Ndome, Mlalakawi Village, Ngolia Tausa, sub-county of Taita Taveta County. She is survived by 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly and hope to emulate her courage and fortitude in their own lives.

The cortege will leave St. Joseph’s Hospital Morgue lkanga on Saturday 9th July 2022 at 8.00am and proceed to Ndome by 10.00am for the funeral service at home in lalakawi village – Ngolia Ward, Taita Taveta County.
