With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Mama Rhodah Minayo Kagasi on 20th January 2026 in Kidundu, Vihiga County.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Anyama and Hannah Anyama of Kidundu.
She was the wife of the late Absalom Kagasi and loving sister of late Shadrack Otiende, Elina Makungu, Esau Agesa, Bethwel Onzere, Ema Vugutsa, Gerishom Elatsya, Florence Kavedza and Japheth Mmbaya.
She was the mother of the late Caroline Luvai, Lornah Kagasi, Beatrice Adeka, Dr. Alan Kisia, Myra Mutsune, late Mabel Mulanda, Rachel Kagasi, John Kagasi, Emily Kagasi, Leah Wambete, and late Nathan Misoga. She was mother in law of Nathan Luvai, late Isaac Adeka, Elizabeth Kisia, late Whycliff Mutsune, late Dobson Mulanda, Edith Kagasi and Jane Misoga. She was grandmother and great grandmother to many.
The funeral Service will be held on Friday, 30th January 2026, at the Quaker Bible College Kidundu, starting from 9am. The burial service will follow on Saturday, 31st January 2026, at the same venue, starting from 9am.
