It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Rosa Nyanduko Ongubo which occurred on 12th April 2023.

Loving wife to the late Mzee Bethuel Ongubo Oenga of Raitigo. Co-wife to the late Jerusha Nyamerambo and the late Loice Nyangweso.

Daughter of the late Mzee Maiso and the late Mama Kwamboka Maiso of Sosera Getengereiri, Nyaribari Masaba. Sister to Mosima, the late Oigoro, the late Nyarangi Osano, the late Salome, the late Mobagi, the late Tim and the late Matinde.

Mother to Esther, Job (Kensalt), Pamela, Siriba, Agnes, Josphine (Gwasco), Otara, Jackline (Nyasore), Jennifer, Alexina (KMC), the late Onyansi, Peris, Mabira, Ruth, Nyaega, Nyambeki, Monyenye, Nyarera, Thomas, the late Oichoe, Nyanchoka, Nyakara, Ndigwa, Margaret, Carren, the late Anna, Beatrice, the late Ogando, the late Kemuma, Obare and Onderi.

She was Korera to the late Okari, the late Koya, Mwakio, the late Otuke, Iteba, the late Nyakeruma, Onyangore, the late Oguye, Mogire, the late Momanyi, the late Nyamari, the late Araka, Matera, the late Ongoa and Bonuke. Mother-in-law to Mangana, Ratemo, Makori, Omariba, Aera, Ayub, Dominic (USA), Stanley, Mosingi, Nyasimi, Nyakiba, the late Ogega, James Ariga, Christiana Nancy, Moraa, Teresa, Grace, Bosibori, Hon. Josephine Nyarera, Joyce, Carren, Kemunto, Miriam, Monyangi, Naomi and Jackline.

Aunt to Emori ya Zakayo, Charles, Gekonge, Biria, Kennedy, Moranga, Moraa, Agnes and others.

Grandmother to 130 grandchildren and 125 great-grandchildren.

There will be a procession from Bosongo Funeral Home on Thursday, 27th April, 2023 to her home at Raitigo. The burial will take place on Friday, 28th April, 2023 at Raitigo, Nyamira County.
