We are saddened to announce the death of Mama Rose Akata Omunjalu that occurred on 29/09/2019.

Daughter of the late Mzee Rodgers Khayega Demo and the late Mama Ezinah Akamala of Musasa Village — Shiru Sub Location — Hamisi District. Beloved wife of Mzee Herbert Omunjalu (formerly of Kenya Railways). Daughter in law of Benjamin Ngasi and Mama Priscillah Omutere Ngasi. Loving mother of Everlyn Omunjalu (Knight), Stanley Amuhaya, Joyce Muronji, George Lemo, the late Nancy, Kennedy Alwang’a, Nixon Akasi, Stephen Otuba, Lynette Khanali and Milton Ngasi. Grand mother of many. Niece of mama Fedah Amudavi and Rodah Ingati. Sister of Thomas Musee, Peter Vuhya, Mary Kisala, Gladys Amagove, Edah Agevi, the late Philip and Henry Lirole.

Mother in law of the late Emmanuel Omukule, Millicent Wafula, Julia lminza, Emily Kiliru and Samuel Atsewa. Sister in law of the late Rehema Ndeta, Cecilia Lugalia, Selpher Okutoto, Josiah Andati, Margaret Omuronji, Johnstone Juma, Romona Ayoti, Grace Muhongo , Rasoha Musee, Catherine Lirole, Eram Kisala and Evans Agevi. Auntie of the (Musee’s, Kisala’s, Lirole’s and Agevi’s families and Susy ) among others. Cousin of Mary Agitsa, Enock Amudavi, Dr. David Amudavi, Morris Ingati, Rebecca Ikatwa, Edith Monyani, Eunice Kombo and Martin Ingati among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mission ospital Mortuary — Khayega — Thursday 10/10/2019 at 10.00a.m.

Funeral service on 12/10/2019 from 9.00a.m and burial will take place at EshirumbaVillage, Bukura Location, Kakamega Central.
