It Is with deep sadness but also with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama RoseLeah Odongo Miguda nee Nyang’aya which occurred on 21st July 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Jaduon’g Isaac Nyang’aya and the late Mama Beldina Omolo of Kasipul, and daughter in-law to the late Ibrahim Miguda and the late Mama Rebecca Dola of Thurclibuoro Nyakach.

Beloved wife to Mzee Werre Miguda of Nyakach Koguta and Achego, Muhoroni, Co-wife to the late Lucy Ngina Werre and Mary Amondi Otiu Werre.

Loving mother to Prof Judith Miguda-Attyang, Mary Adika, Herine Ouma, Eucabeth Ouko, Maureen Kimutai, Lillian Jamhuri Awich, Isaac Mjumbe, the late Jack Mbogo, the late Ibrahim Sijaona, Rebecca Dola Miguda, Joan Miguda, Nurun Oyugi, the late Ronald Otiu, and Nicole Miguda. Step-mother to Pamela Anyango, Bertha Achieng, Jack Jaoko, the late John Odera, Carol Amondi Onjula, Victoria Miguda Bonyo and Sophia Otiu.

A fundraising will be held on Monday, 31st July, 2023 at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Sanctuary at 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on Thursday 10th August 2023 at 10.00am and Funeral service be held at Achego AIC Church at 2.00pm after which the cortege moves to the home of Mzee Werre Werre Miguda in Yago Village, god abuoro sub-location, Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County.

The burial will take place on Friday, 11th August, 2023 at Achego Yago Village, God-Abuoro sub-location, Muhoroni Sub-county.
