Mama Rosemary Wambui Murende

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing on of Mama Rosemary Wambui Murende of Mwanzo Estate Eldoret and a woman’s Guild Member of PCEA – Ayub Kinyua Parish, Eldoret.

The second born daughter of the late James Ngochi Kinuthia and the late Josephine Wairimu Kinuthia of Cicu Village, Kandara, Murang’a County. Wife of the late Fredrick Murende Wambundoh of Ugunja, Siaya County. Sister of the late Rhoda Wachira, Rebecca Rurigu, the late Hezekiah Kinuthia, the late Solomon Kiragu, Tabitha Kirundi, Rahab Muthoni, Martha Wamaitha, the late John Kamau, Paul Gitau, Joseph Ndegwa, the late Judy Njoki.

Mother of Catherine Wairimu Mwangi (Muranga’a), George Kinuthia Murende (Yemen), James Ngochi Murende (Eldoret), the late Dorcas Waithira Wachira (Nakuru) and Solomon Kiragu Murende (Eldoret). Mother-in-law of Charles Mwangi (Muranga), Lucy Wanjiru Kinuthia, Lydia Jepchumba Ngochi, Peter Wachira Miugo, and Josliter Gatwiri Kiragu.

Godmother to Irene Namikoye Masika. Grandmother to Kevin Odhiambo Murende, Margaret Wanjiru Wachira, Michael Ngaari Mwangi, James Ngochi Mwangi, Michael Miugo Wachira, Mary Wambui Kinuthia, Daricun Ngure, Wambui Kiragu, Fredrick Murende, Kathure. Kiragu, James Wambundo and George Kinuthia Ngochi.Aunt and grandmother to many.

Funeral arrangement meetings are taking place daily between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at her Mwanzo home in Eldoret.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 5th July 2022, at her Cicu village farm, in Kandara, Murang’a County.

There will be a viewing of the body at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital on Monday 4th July, 2022 at 4.00pm and prayers at her Mwanzo home thereafter. The cortege will depart Eldoret for Murang’a at 10.00pm on the same day. Funeral service will take place at her Cicu home, Murang’a starting at 10.00 am on Tuesday 5th July, 2022. . .
