Mama Saline Adika Omuto

It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we ,the Omuto Family, announce the death of Mama Saline Adika Omuto (formerly, Kenya Postal Corporation), which occurred on 26th May 2021 at St. Camillus Mission Hospital, Sori, Karungu, after short illness.

She was the loving wife of late Ex-Senior Chief Romanus Omuto Onjula and beloved daughter of the late Asango Gor of Kanyamwa Kayambo. Sister of Ms. Rosemary Okang, Mr Casmiel Ndiro, and the late Gilbert Asango. Loving mother of Walter Omuto (Sony Sugar), Tom Mboya (Former MCA, Gwassi South), Dr. Christian Thine (University of Nairobi), Fredrick Opere, Chief Romanus, Asha Atieno (Coptic Hospital), the late Evalyn Akinyi and late Josephine Oyugi.

Mama was also a caring mother to Saline Ambitho (Mombasa Hospital), Richard Ogutu (USA), Cyprine Maima (USA), Maurice Ogallo (USA), Beatrice Agenga, Mary Obilo, Anne Amollo (Maranda School), Elias Otiwa, Nancy Odundo Koru Girls), Anna Orodo, Mary Anyango, Paul Okanga, Gabriel Omondi, and many others.

She was mother-in-law to Dr. Odundo Ambitho, Mr. Maima, Linda Walter, Beatrice Mboya, Enid Thine, Flovian Chief, Rebbeca Opere, Regis Ogutu (USA), Celestine Maurice (USA), Jane Otiwa, Doreen Nick, Tina Okanga and Lilian Omondi. Beloved auntie of Ms. Margaret Ologi and grandmother to Angela Ambitho (Infotrak Research)and many others.

The cortege leaves St. Camillus Mission Hospital on 8th June, 2021, at 10.00am, for a requiem mass in Tonga Mission Catholic Church – Magunga, Gwassi. She will be buried in her home in Magunga Gwassi in Suba South on 9th June, 2021.
