Mama Sophia Wanjiku Kimani (Wa Mbaria)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Sophia Wanjiku Kimani that occurred on Sunday 24th June 2018 after a sudden illness.

Daughter of the Late Lizie Njeri and the late Isaac Waweru. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Kimani Njoroge of Boro, Kigumo Division, Murang’a County. Loving mother of Peter Njoroge, Catherine Wanjiru, Ronald Njoroge, the late Lizie Njeri, Isaac Waweru, David Mbaria, Hanah Wambui, Mary Wahgechi and Solomon Mureithi.

Mother-in-law of Beatrice Wambui (ACK Kanyenya-ini), Hildah Wairimu, Phylis Mwihaki, Rebecca Njambi, the late (Cllr.) Erastus Njoroge Gitau, Daniel Kihia Karuri and Jane Mureithi. She was the sister of Abigael Wambui, Mercy Muthoni, the late Joyce Waiyego, Margaret Nyambura and Samuel Mwangi. A loving grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Meetings are taking place daily at Magomano Restaurant, Tom Mboya Street, daily from 6.00pm Funeral service and burial will be on Saturday 7th July 2018 at her Boro home, Kangari, Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a County.
