Mama Wilkister Okelo Osamba

We regret to announce the death of Mama Wilkister Okelo Osamba, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.

She passed on at Nyabondo Rehab Centre on 18th July 2022 after a short illness.

Wife of the late Dismas Osamba. Daughter of the late Mzee Ageng’o Omolio and the late Mama Rosa Agengo of Koguta village. Co-wife of the late Mama Margaret, the late Mama Teresia, and Mama Philister.

Mother of Richard, Prof. Osamba, Gordon, Fleriah, Lucy, Julius and Roseline. Sister-in-law of the late Kisimba, the late Onguko and the late Atela.

Mother-in-law to Netta, Mary, Jenifer, Dalima and Millicent. Her sons in law include the late John Nyandiko and Joseph Ochieng’. Grandmother of Oduor, Achieng’, Hortencia, Janice, Hudson, Edmond, Austin, Frank, Patrick, Ray, Brandon, Godfrey, Steve, Mercy, Wycliffe, Faith, Shalom, Lovejoy, Marcus, Dyson, Kate, Kyle, Kayden and Melvin), and 17 great grandchildren (Owen, Meryl, Jason, Ayla, Abigael, Naphtali, Nucci, among others.

The cortege will leave Bethlehem Funeral Home for Ararat Legio Maria Church on Friday, 5th August 2022 for Holy Mass.

After which the body will be escorted to her home in Wahanda Village for an overnight stay. The funeral service will be held on Saturday 6th August 2022 from 8.00am at her home.
