We are saddened to announce the death of Mama Yunuke Barongo Mbeche on 8th September 2023 at The Nairobi West Hospital.

The late Yunuke was born in 1920 to Mzee Samuel Machuki and Truphena Mogombu and Step Daughter to Moindi, Nyakara & Nyorosa (All Deceased), of lgorera, Machoge Borabu Kisii County.

Loving wife to the late Obadiah Mbeche Siekei of Bokione, Banyandieka, Kisii County. Co-wife to Milkah Ndege.

Sister to Aska, Mong’eri, Onyango, Sibiah, Onduso, Mekubo Miriam, (all late) Rael Moraa Martha Alice, Florence, Nyagonde among others.

Sister-In-law: to Moraa, Nyang’au, Bosibori, Kwamboka, Keire & Marube, (all late), Mogire & Matera.

Adoring Mother to the late Eng. Ibrahim Marube, Mishael Ong’ayo (Sokoine), & Ruth Kwamboka Ongiri. Step-Mother to Sarah, Rael, Late Peter, Machuma, Joyce, Margaret, Caren, Wilter, Kerubo & Mogusu.

Prayers and meetings are ongoing daily in Langata, Jambo Estate House No. 949, From 5.00pm.

Main fundraising will be held on Tuesday, the I 9th September, at Hse No. 949 Jambo Estate Langata.

A Memorial Service will be held at Nairobi South Sda Church on Wednesday, 20th September, 2023, Starting From 3.00pm.

The cortege Leaves Umash Funeral Home Nairobi, at 9.00am on 21st September to Riamokogoti Nyansiongo, Nyamira County, for overnight vigil. Burial will be on 22nd September 2023 at her home starting from 9.00am.
