Margaret Awuor Obimo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Margaret Awuor Obimo which occurred on the 10th June 2018.

Daughter of the late Laban Wayodi and the late Grace Aoko Wayodi. Wife of Andrea Obimo. Mother of Mary Awino, Patrick Ochieng (Commandant Kenya Police Staff College-Loresho), Edward Okoth (Nya Ugenya Bus), the late Celine Atieno, the late Omondi, Millicent Aluoch, Maurice Oduor, the late Lillian Apondi, the late Janet Achieng and Monica Anyango. Sister to Jane Amino, Jared Odhiambo, the late Zedekiah Omondi, Rosbella Akoth, the late Patrick Onyango, Felgona Achieng and Julia Anyango. Mother-in-law of Consolata Nyamul (Deputy Head Teacher Visa Oshwal), Mary Atieno, Ruth Nthambi, the late George Omiya, the late Alex Ouma, Boaz Agaya, the late Maurice Ochieng and George Odhiambo (Nairobi Academy). Grandmother of 33 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Sega Mission Mortuary for a requiem mass at Ulawe ACK on Friday the 22nd June, 2018 at 10:00am. Thereafter there will be an overnight vigil at her homestead.

The late Margaret Awuor Obimo will be laid to rest on Saturday 23rd March, 2018 at her homestead in Ulawe Village, Umala Sub-Location, Ugunja Sub-County, Siaya County.
