Margaret Cheptoo Kiriga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Margaret Cheptoo Kiriga that occurred on 18th October 2020 at KNH. She lived in Ruai, Nairobi and taught at Ruai Girls Secondary school.

Loving wife of Rev. Gideon Kiriga Mwiranga and mother of Rohi Muthomi, Barnabas Bai, Nacham Gaceri & Nathanael Mutharime. Daughter of the late Mzee Joseph Kokwon Cheptoo and the late Prisca Kobilo Kokwon, and daughter-in-law of Mwiranga Kiang’a & Jelina Ndangi Mwiranga. Sister of Salina Koima, Maria Cheruiyot, James Kokwon, Esther Kipsingar and Pauline Mancharit. Sister in-law of Ncoro & Mugao, Mukembu & Gatoro, Njagi & Gatiria, Njeru & Njeri, Kagendo & Ngetich, Muthami Kamunda, Kamunda & Njeru, Maukura & Kanyiva, Kiang’a & Gakii, Kaburi & Ngugi, Kanyua & Mweta, Mucee & Kathuure, Kiriungi, Cheruiyot, Kipsingar & Mancharit. Cousin and auntie of many.

There will be a funeral service on 29th October 11am to 1pm at CITAM Clay City near Githurai 45.

Burial will be on Friday, 30th October 2020 at her home – Turima Tweru in Tharaka Central, Tharaka Nithi County.
