1960 – 2022 It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Maraga Yonge in a fatal road accident on September 11th 2022, in Frederick County, USA.

Daughter of the late Mzee Jonah Khakuli and Mama Esther Shinji!’ Khakuli. Wife of the late Morrice Odero Yonge. Partner to Damien Amevor. Mother to Lawrence Yonge, Monica Yonge, George Yonge, Norega Yonge, Silvia Yonge, Linda Yonge and Alex Nandwa.

Grandmother to Ferry Odero Geh, Elise Maraga Yonge, Zane Kah Geh and Jeremy Oduro Yeboah of USA.

Sister to Flora Khakuli, Richard Sanya, Jarred Angatia,the late Edward Ajanga, Harun Nandwa, Rose Shambula, Jane Nandolo and Maurice Nandwa.

There will be two Celebration of Life Events at the following Venues: Calvary Temple, Buru Buru, Nairobi on Saturday September 24th, 2022 at 2.00pm. Khakuli Boma, Makuchi Sub-location, Vihiga County on Saturday September 24th 2022.

Burial will be held in Frederick County, USA on Saturday October 1st, 2022.
