Margaret Nawanjaya Mundia

(1937 – 2023)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Retired Teacher Margaret Nawanjaya Mundia. Wife of the late Jackton Mundia of Ndalu Scheme, Plot 138, Bungoma County.

Daughter to the late Resa Nekesa and the late Tadayo Wambiji Waudo.

Mother of Dinah, Leonard, Kennedy, Annie, and Joseph. Mother-in-law to Grace, Margaret, Sammy, and Zipporah.

Sister to Silvanus, Faris, Peris, the late Engineer Alfred, the late Prof. Henry, the late Eliud, the late Philip, Martha, Hellen, Betty, Wechuli, Benea and Rita.

In-law to Rispar, Zephaniah, Ombisa, Avedi, Abisai, Shua, Helen, the late Okello, Dr. Bukhala, the late Peter, Maria, Rita, Ruth, Julius, Julia, Dr. Josephine and Pastor Bilha.

A grandmother to 18 grandchildren among whom are; Daisy, George, Venessa, Caren, Sergio, among others. She had 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A cousin to the Khaembas, Munyasas, Mukhoves, Sigangas, Wangias, Wawires and Wangwes.

The cortege leaves Crystal Cottage – Kitale on 05/05/2023 at 9.00am. The funeral and burial service will be held on Saturday 06/05/2023 in Ndalu Sub-location, Nzoia Village.
