Margaret Njeri Mbugua (Njeri wa Gukaya)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Margaret Njeri Mbugua.

Wife of the late Samuel Mbugua Gatheru (Mwalimu Gukaya). Daughter of the late Juliano Wango and the late Lydia Ngami. Sister of the late Wanjiku Loki, Wairimu Kongo, Baines Njenga, the late Rosemary Wambui, the late Patrick Murage, Eng. John Njaaga (Formerly of KPLC), Bishop Cephas Ndungu Wango and Wangui Kimani.

Mother of Ann Nyambura, George Gatheru, Mary Mukami, Elizabeth Wangui, Francesca Wanjiku, Bernard Wango, Angelica Wambui, Simon Mwatha, Fr. William Mbugua SJ, Gerald Njoroge, Elias Murage and Hellen Wairimu. Mother-in-law of Lucy Njoki, Faith Wango, Perpetual Mwatha, Paul Wanyagah and Kariuki Kahuki. Grandmother to many.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at her home in Gakoe Village, Githunguri Sub-county, Kiambu County, from 4.00pm – 5.00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home – Nairobi, on Thursday, 22nd April, 2021, at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at her home in Gakoe Village, Githunguri Sub-county, Kiambu County.
