Margaret Wambui Gatheca

We regret to announce the passing on of Margaret Wambui Gatheca. She was the Director of Nursing in Kiambu County Government and the chairlady of Catholic Women Association (CWA) Karuri Parish.

Wife of Gasper Gatheca from Karuri Gachorue (Banana Hill).

Daughter of the late Isaac Ngugi Gitonga, and Salome Wanjiku Ngugi from Kiganjo, Gatundu. Sister of Regina Njeri, Alice Wanjiru, Esther Gathoni, John Gitonga, Mary Wairimu. Rosemary Mumbi, and George Kamunyu.

Mother of Mary Wangari,Anthony Mwaura (SGR) and Salome Wanjiku.

She is the daughter-in-law to the late Wilson Mwaura and the late Mary Wangari Wakiiru.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on F ‘3Ott’ December 2022 at 8.00am. The funeral service will be held at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Chum Karuri at 10.00am followed by interment at her farm in Njiku (Raini).
