Margaret Wanjiru Gitau

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Margaret Wanjiru Gitau, which occurred on Thursday 26th January, 2023.

Daughter to the late Bedan Ndungu and the late Milka Wanjiku Ndungu.

Beloved wife to the late Francis Gitau. Loving Mother Esther Wambui Kimani, Micah Wanjiku Kariuki, Judy Wangari Gitau and Elizabeth Wanjiru Muriuki. Mother-in-law to Kimani Nganga,Allan Gichina and Silas Muriuki.

Sister to the late Elizabeth Kaberi, the late Peter Mburu, Serah Muhia. Miriam Njohu, Priscilla Wamai and the late Mary Waniiru.

Sister-in-law to many and auntie to Many others.

Doting grandmother to Lisa, Stacy, Jasmine, Jermaine, Nyambura,Alisha, Gitau, Neema, Kyle and Kelsey.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Golf View Githingiri Estate (next to Thika Sports Club), from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati, Murang’a on Friday 3rd February, 2023 at 8.00am for a funeral service at PCEA Elijah Kagiri – Thika, from 10.00am. Thereafter, burial will be held at her family home in Kamuhindi Village Gakoe, Gatundu North.
