Margaret Wanjiru Maina (Wa-Mbui)
It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our Matriach, Margaret Wanjiru Maina (Wa-Mbui) which occurred on the 31st January 2023.
Daughter to the late Joshua Mbui and the late Jane Wakanyi.
Wife of the late Remijio Maina Ngura and co-wife to Virginia Nyaguthii.
Mother to James Mbui & Damaris Nduta (UON), Grace Wanjiku & Maina Ka•oki (Membley), janeWakanyi & Maina Thaka (USA), Charles Kamanda (KCB) & Faith Wanjiru, Beatrice Wacheke (USA), John Ngugi (Igna), Elizabeth Nyambura (USA), John Ngura & Joyce Njeri, Grace Wanjiru, Charles Mukuha & Sukio Gathoni, Edward Kamanda & Dorothy Achieng, Jane Mutheki, Elizabeth Wacheke (USA), Cecilia Mumbi & Nana (USA), Jeniffer Waithira, Martin Gichohi, the late Margaret Wanjiku, the late George Kamanda & Lucy Njoki and Mary Waithira.
Sister to the late Alphina Nyambura, the late Margaret Wangari, the late Grace Wanjeri, James Njuguna, Margaret Nyambura and others. She was grandmother and great grandmother to many.
Relatives and friends will be meeting at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6.00pm for funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave KU Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Funeral Home on Saturday, 14th January 2023 at 6.00am. Mass will be at Kanjama Catholic Church from 10.00am, followed by burial in Kanjama Village, Kiru Location, Mathioya in Murang’a.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mama Margaret. Your tributes to Mum have spoken volumes about her great legacy and life. May God fill your hearts with peace and give you strength.
