Maria Wambui Komu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ms. Maria Komu, that occurred on 13th June, 2022 at The Nairobi Hospital, after a critical illness. She was a Revenue Officer at Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

Daughter of the late Joseph Komu and Jecinta Wairimu. Lovely mother to Joe Komu, David Maina and Ken Kuhota. Sister to the late Paul Munyao, Daniel Kuhota and Peter Kariuki. Mother-in-law to ltaluciah Njuguna and grandmother to Malaika Wanjiru, Shantell Zawadi and Maria Wambui Maina. She was adored by her uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and fondly remembered by many, beloved amongst the Munyao’s fraternity.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home at Kenyatta Road-Juja, Tausi Estate or at Accra Hotel 5th Floor, Room 12, from 6.00pm – 9.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home -Thika Road on Friday 24th June 2022 at 8:00am for Nyeri County, Mukurweini Constituency, Mweru Location – Kinuri Village, where she will be laid to rest.
