It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum Maria Wanjiru Kung’u.

Beloved wife of the late Peter Kung’u Kamau. Sister of Wanjiku Njai. Mother of Bernadette Wanjiku Gathingo, Josephine Njeri Gikebe, Francis Kamau Kung’u, Cecilia Wamaitha Mwangi, the late Bernard Njai, Agnes Gakenia Kahura, James Njoroge Kung’u, John Kangethe Kung’u, the late Lucy Wambui Maina, Margaret Waruhi Kung’u (Boston USA), Christine Njuhi Kung’u.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Gatukuyu village from 3.00pm for funeral arrangements and prayers daily.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home on Tuesday 19th June 2018 at 8.00am for funeral service at St.Teresa Mwea Catholic Church and burial follows at her home in Gatukuyu village, Thika Kiambu County.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heaven.
